    "Break of Day" is an album a long time coming. After years of recording in collaboration with others I decided it was time to make my own statement. Most of the songs on this recording are originals written over the last few years and never recorded. I imagined how a song would sound with just the right players in just the right studio. To hear that sound coming out of the speakers is exciting beyond words!

    Bassist Jimmy Masters helped me produce this recording and introduced me to some of the fine jazz musicians who played on it. It was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Rob Ulshe at Mastersound.

I am looking forward to sharing what I think is some special music. Thanks to friends old and new for giving it a listen!
